  • maybe we should +3
  • I don't think so; unless you're one of those self-important psychos that had it pasted to your ear 24/7!
  • The medical community says you'd have to spend a HELLUVA lot of time on the phone for this to be the case!
  • I believe that there is some correlation, especially for the talkaholics that don't put their cellphones down for more than a few minutes.
  • I'm sure there are some good ones out there, but every cell phone I have had, I have hated. So, no worries, I don't use them hardly.
  • Cell phones do not cause brain tumors. There is no hard evidence to back this up.
  • Yes/no/maybe. There does seem to be a correlation. People in strong signal areas are less at risk than those way out there with marginal connections.. the cellphone has to put out a much stronger signal to reach the tower. also occasional use carries much less risk than noon-stop chat, and use of an earpiece also reduces risk. You can even buy special acoustic earphones... the theory is RF energy can be carried along the wires to a normal earpiece and affect the brain... these earpieces use plastic tubes to carry the sound. I hope they sound better than aircraft headphones used to sound - especially for the price! I'm a cynical b......, and when I see "Don't fry your brain" headlines and a $60 price tag for a small piece of plastic tubing, I begin to suspect the scare story may not be enbtirely unbiased.
