Does eBay have significant problems with phoney bidding?

    Old question Keith. I don't know about eBay, but i know the regular sellers have considerable problem with bogus bidders. I myself got stuck in a jam when the PS3 was released just prior to the holidays a few years back; I had one on auction and a bogus bidder won it @ 3 grand; Because of eBay policy i had to keep it in my possession until finally resolving...AFTER XMAS. It would be helpful if eBay customer service spoke & understood clear English. I sold it eventually for $600 profit, not bad, but not the killing i could have made. The same thing happened to me a few times with the "hot toy of that year" i don't recall what it was, but i had 2 dozen.

    The bs bidding is one of the reasons I have abandoned ebay. I let a nice domain name go for about $10,000 but otherwise I have not sold anything on eBay in a couple years.
