For a play, you do not use quotations, since the lines will be preceded by the character speaking them. Yes, you would indent them a tab stop, or ten spaces from the left margin if those are not pre-set. Example: John: (snidely) Did you see that airplane? Mary: It was a hum-dinger! Alphonse: (weeping) Say, do you have any grey Poupon? John: Pardon me while I start my chainsaw. (Note that AB does not allow us to indent, otherwise this example is fine.)

Are you using Word? There are built in "quote" styles - that might make it a little easier. However, I would adjust the inbuilt styles to suit what you want. With quotes, I tend to go for indented on both sides, with the author's name and page number (or in the case of a play, Act and Scene) at the bottom.
