I have once or twice but I dont really like boxers that much anymore so the soccer shorts are kinda the same. I did have a pair of tearaway nylon pants in middle school maybe into high school and after an awkward moment with them I always wore soccer shorts under them.

Yep, it's great! I wear satin soccer shorts instead of boxers at least once a week. I'll wear unlined nylon with nothing under sometimes too. It can be dangerous in public but since I would wear boxers under nylon anyway, it's not that much riskier!
