Do you feel embarrassed to purchase Christmas decorations when the stores put them out early in the year?

Nope. They are usually marked down quite a bit if they are out early or in some cases late (have seen some displays out as late as February). Most of the stores I frequent know me and my penchant for penny pinching anyways.

Not at all ~ although we usually buy them the day after Christmas when decorations are almost always 50%off. Cant get better than that!

nope not unless im wearing an elf suit with over sized shoes with the curly thing on the tips and singing Christmas carols in line. in august... true story

I wouldn't be embarassed, no. However I would be so incensed that Christmas was being shoved down my throat that early that I would stop visiting that store unless absolutely necessary.

My husband really hates everything that goes with Christmas. The decoration and stuff. So we usually keep it simple. Only on the second day of Christmas he lets me put extra decorations around the house because it is my birthday and he knows I really love Christmas. (I fear for him that when our little son gets older he will stick with mommy and that he will have to face the decorations :P)

No, mostly because they run out just before christmas.

I don't do Christmas, so, the question doesn't apply. Perhaps it better belongs in the religious section?
