cremation is where the body gets burned instead of buried,you undergo the normal processes of a funeral,but at the end they close the curtain & the funeral is over,then they do what they have to do with the body.

Cremation is the burning of a dead body. In most parts of the world, such as developing countries, cremation takes place on an open-air pyre of wood. In developed nations, cremation usually takes place in a specially designed furnace. The temperature inside the furnace ranges from 1400-2000 degrees F and can reduce an average sized person to charred bone fragments in 1-2 hours. After the bone fragments have cooled, they are removed from the furnace and run through a special grinder. The fragments are processed until they resemble sand in texture and placed in a container. This is what we refer to as the ashes.

The town where I live has grown around a funeral home and crematorium. Occasionally, you can see (and smell) the distinct smoke. I've decided I would like to be cremated there. But to make everything more appealing (and disturbing) I would like to have a few bottles of bbq sauce sent into the oven with me. How would you like to have the smell from a crematorium make you hungry?
