  • Yes. They are less biased toward the right. They also don't fabricate stories to fit their agenda, which "What the Fox?!?!?" 'News' has admitted in court to doing.
  • What Fox News is to the right CNN News and MSNBC is to the left. . Everyone has an agenda. Everyone.
  • Simply, yes. Fox is much more biased. Of course, no news source is without bias, which is why you should always try to get news from more than one source, at least for important matters. But Fox is dramatically more biased than the other main TV news channels.
  • Not really...they are all controlled by the same people and are allowed to present only what they say.
  • The difference is that msnbc reports the truth and takes steps to ensure accuracy. Faux News makes up whatever they want. People like Beck and O'Reilly have been caught in outright lies. Fox even went to court and fought for the right to mislead the public and disseminate inaccurate information. What does that tell you about their journalistic integrity?
  • Same crap, different aroma
  • Fox IS of course more biased, but the problem is that the other news channels see that fox is successful, and so they think 'hmm... maybe they're on to something' and become more and more like them.
  • Not really. They all have their own bias and agenda. Fox is more conservative, MSNBC is more liberal etc...All news channels are problematic because most of what they present as "news" is just analysis and opinion from some talking head. You have a conservative pundant on Fox like O'Reily, and a Liberal one on MSNBC like Olbermann.
  • In my opinion, the difference between msnbc and Fox News is this: msnbc shows a liberal bias in their news reports. Fox News is entrenched in, and promotes, a conservative ideology. The heads of msnbc and CNN, Jonathan Klein and Phillip Griffin, have extensive wide-ranging backgrounds and experience in the field of network news as writers, reporters, directors and producers. Klein with CBS News and Griffin with CNN and NBC. Griffin and especially Klein, are journalists. The head (and creator) of Fox News, Roger Ailes, has experience in television. He also spent decades as a Republican strategist and media consultant, guiding the presidential campaigns of Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and George Bush Sr. Ailes has been described as "the amusingly ferocious Republican media genius" and a "pit-bull Republican media strategist turned television tycoon." Fox News is the only network I know that's won in court by convincing a jury that the First Amendment gives broadcasters the right to lie, mislead, or deliberately distort news reports on the public airwaves. And at least CNN and msnbc get the maps right http://mediamatters.org/blog/200907270040
  • One thing I find silly on CNN is that they keep reporting "BREAKING NEWS" about an event, like Michael Jackson's death, yet the "breaking news" is "old news" rehashed or simply "a bit of new news". For example, they keep reporting that an investigation of Michael Jackson's personal doctor Dr. Murray is underway, yet we all know that that's been going on since Michael Jackson died. "This just in," they say, "Police have confiscated many items from Dr. Murray's residence.." That's just a bit of new news added on to the "old news." Sheesh!
  • Fox is like the tabloids. It ries to sensationalize the story. CNN is not much better. I like Democracy Now, Link TV and Grit TV
  • One HUGE difference - CNN and MSNBC haven't sponsored or promoted anti-government rallies.
  • Fox really is that bad. They really try hard to be that way. They are ridiculous.
