well wouldnt the answer to that be loyalty?? because if someone is completely loyal to you then they wouldnt do anything to be dishonest about honesty is a good trait but if an honest person isnt loyal then they could do whatever they wanted and then tell you all about it later
-
Honesty. Loyalty means nothing without honesty. Honesty is everything, if you can't be truthful, then you have nothing.
-
Honesty. Loyalty isn't necessarily a positive trait. One can be loyal to things which are not good, and it is honesty which prevents that. Honesty also begets loyalty to those things which are good.
-
Honesty....If you aren't loyal at least you'll be honest about it
-
Loyoalty, because sometimes being honest will only cause more problems than if you tell a white lie. Loyalty to some one is also a very hard quality to find so i think it should be cherished much more than honesty, any one can be honest, not every one can be loyal.
-
Honesty by far. You can be very loyal to a liar and gain nothing from it. Honesty is something nobody can take from you.
-
honesty. loyalty may get you into trouble.
-
loyalty, cause who cares about someones opinion on care bears when there's a gun to your head?
-
I value honesty more. I expect a person not to be loyal to me, but to their values. If you are loyal to a friend who does terrible things I don't consider that virtuous.
-
I would go with Honesty as I believe that if someone is HONEST ; that they will also be Loyal ..
-
Diplomacy. Sometimes it's best for a loyal friend not to be too forthrightly honest, and sometimes it's impossible for an honest friend to be completely loyal.

Definitely Honesty...the thinking trait. Loyalty, for whatever reason, is ultimately an obsequious position. I recently started seeing someone who values loyalty above all else - this may have to do with 'cheating' situations in their past, I think, but I think it has more to do with where they fall on the Myers-Briggs spectrum (j vs. p...judging a situation vs. perceiving it...I think of it as the person who wants one solution, quickly, vs. the person who is more open-ended, and wants multiple solutions, and is comfortable not coming to a decision quickly...both types have their strengths and both types are needed).
