yuppers ab+. I was taking the city bus one day and when we got to the terminal there was a red cross station that was typing people for donation so I went and got typed.

Yes. I am 0 negative. That's the "universal donor" Anyone at all, supposedly, can take 0- blood but 0-'s can only take 0-. So on New Years Day and other holidays (where there is a higher than average accident rate), if the local hospitals are running low on type of blood, they can use 0- ....so my sisters and I will get a phone call asking us if we can come in and donate.
