They are still an active group. Not terribly busy, but still active. From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Village_People highlights of their last two years: September 4, 2006, Village People performed on Jerry Lewis' MDA Telethon. August 31, 2007 - Victor Willis gave his first live concert in 28 years in Las Vegas. October 23, 2007, Village People performed on the NBC game show The Singing Bee. November 17, 2007, Victor Willis wed his long-time love Karen, a lawyer and executive. (I guess he's not gay) July 15, 2008, during the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, the Village People performed "YMCA" at Yankee Stadium along with the Yankees' grounds crew in between innings. September 12, 2008, Village People received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
