There are different pills, with different rules and different levels of effectiveness. So nobody could give you an answer without that information =)
i have dated girl's who were on the pill....the reason that you are supposed to take it at the same time everyday is so that you will remember......i honestly do not think that an hour and a half window would make any difference....had you missed a couple day's without taking it, that should be of concern....you should be fine......take care....brian.....
You should be safe, a pill lasts in effect for quite some time (minimum 24 hours and up to days depending on your cycle and the pill) I usually take my pill somewhere between 10pm-1am, and I dont see the need to be exact on the minute on when I take it. Still not pregnant after years of using the pill.

You're reading Im taking pills for the 1st time..i took the 1st pill on 7:30pm during the 5th day of my menstruation, for the next few pills i was able to take it about 7:20 or 7:45pm.. and lately i took a pill at 9:00pm the day before i had sex. am i still protected?
