On films/TV I see alot of American boys have "college rings", does this actually happen? do you have one?

I actually do not see men wearing college rings on a daily basis.

I graduated but never bought one..... To some it is important, to me it was a waste of money....

I bought one when I graduated. I've had people mistake it for a masonic ring. Actually, I belong to that one also. I haven't seen either ring for years. I don't know if they are even in my possession anymore.

Yes. In the US you also get High School rings. The college rings, you can get in your junior year-you need to have enough "hours". It's not just guys-the girl's rings are often much smaller. Sure, I have both, but wear just the college one-this is the way everyone does it.
