Casinos are illegal on California land, but the Indians own their own land and they have the casinos. Sure has taken a BIG bite into the Reno/Las Vegas activity! And now it seems like we have more casinos than we do Native Americans!

Many 'card clubs' are now called Casinos, and allow gambling.

I think that there is a technical issue there because card clubs supposedly only charge for the table and don't take a share in the gambling. That's my understanding. Of course, they also do loans which might be unethical, but it can't possibly be worse than credit cards already are.
