I bought a Nokia seven years ago, stopped using it for awhile, and when I needed an updated one I bought another Nokia a couple of months ago.

This phone has been a trooper.
It has bounced around inside my police car on Code 3 calls. been dropped numerous times and totally soaked with water.
It still works and i will stick with the Nokia brand.

Motorola.. I don't remember what model, but it had the text function, the call function - and that was it - and had a big arse antenna!
We'll it may not of been the type of cell phone, that most people would think of.....LOL.....But it was called a Yaesu FT-727R & the 2nd one was a Yaesu 101zd. And the 2nd one, was kind of heavy to carry around. But they both did & still do the job fine for me.....;-)
Motorola. I got it in 1992 and now, seems as big as one of those two-way radios from World War II. Gordon Geko used the style of phone I had in the movie "Wall Street".
Ericsson - a very heavy, large brick that cost a fortune and the battery didn't stay charged for long.

Motorola and I used it for about two months and decided I hated the cell phone idea. Have not had my own since.
Nokia 5390, it was no where near as small as the one I have now.

Wife and i are with T-Mobile. when T-Mobile first started some 10 years ago, it was named Voicestream. about the only phone available was Nokia.
Today, we are still with T-Mobile and still using Nokia phones. these phones have been very reliable for us.

b) My REAL phone, was a pink Motorola Razr.
