  • One thing would for certain happen. Our tidal system would be much different with occasionally very extreme tides while sometimes there would be barely any tide at all.
  • It would depend on how big the 2nd moon was in relation to the moon we have now and how close to Earth it was orbiting. Some possibilities: Much bigger tides at some times and much lower tides at others, depending on when the 2 moons lined up with each other and when they were at right angles to each other. Brighter nights...if the 2nd moon was big enough and if it sometimes was up at the same time moon #1 was up.
  • Sometimes, when both moons are visible, it will be brighter at night.
