  • I don't hit my kids. There are other methods that work just as well if not better.
  • Still not acceptable, sorry. When your child "messes up," it is much more beneficial for the both of you to discuss what he did wrong, why is was wrong, and what he can do to correct it. Violence as a means of punishment means that he is correcting his behaviour out of fear, not because he has truly realized the problem.
  • im 17 and i was never hit.. i came out fine i dont believe in abuse
  • You already fucked up if you brought innocent children in to *THIS* world against their will. Deal with it. Hit them or not...you already did a gross dis-service to them. Might as well beat the hell out of them, too. At least they'll know how to handle an ass-kicking when we're all scavengers after the global economy collapses.
  • PLease define hit for all I know you could be talking about hit him with a belt or hit him with a hand to much is left open for interpertation
  • Everyone has different methods to raising their children. I don't hit my daughter, but I've never had to. If I had a son though, and he was really out of control...and he was old enough for an ass-whoopin'...I wouldn't totally discount the possibility. Only if they're old enough to defend themself though.
