Yes, in many ways I think this is correct - Republicans have initiated "buzz phrases", just like all corporate entities have. I categorize them with the Borg-like MBAs who think that the only way to succeed in business is to show 15% growth per year. It isn't about employing people, giving service, or empathy, it is all about profit and winning. Thus Logos and Bumpersticker mentality.
