  • No, not outlawed. People need to have more common sense and take responsibility. You would put a fence around a pool, you would child-proof electrical outlets and stow away harmful checmicals, but you would have a large python in the same house as a baby? I grieve for the parents, but common sense is cheap and plentiful.

  • That is so sad. I about died when I saw that on the news and in the newspaper. My opinion is that they don't have to be out lawed. But when you have a snake of the exotic nature it needs to be in its cage if your not with it. Plus to have a toddler. I mean obviously they were not watching the child or the snake. I would never own something like that if I had a child. I am sure it was a freak accident or something, but still. If you are not physically with the animal no matter what it is and you have a young child, then they need to be separated. The snake could have been a dog, and the child stepped on the dog the wrong way and the dog got mad and bit the child.
