Ok, let me get this straight: Mom has 2 kids, Son 1 and Son 2. Son 1 has a child, Grandson. Mom gives her money to Son 1. Son 1 opens an account and the names on the account are Son 1 and Grandson. Is that right? If so, then Son 2 has no recourse. Mom gave her money to Son 1. As soon as that happened, it stopped being her money and started being his. Son 1 can put it into whatever account he likes and put whomever he wants on it. If he does not want Son 2 on the account, Son 2 cannot compel him to do so. Mom can't do it either. She is locked out of the money.
