What happened to proper English being cool? Most Americans get a free Education...use it. Why not?

    The changing genetic makeup of America happened to proper English. Unfortunately, there are many people who think of proper English as culturally biased. In fact, high standards in general are more and more being termed culturally biased. New Haven, CT scrapped a promotion exam because no African-Americans and only two Hispanic firefighters were likely to be made lieutenants or captains based on the results. Imagine how cool or uncool the elected officials of New Haven, CT probably think proper English is?
