Yes. But having been unmarried all my life I can't imagine it any other way any more. Having to ask someone else for their opinion on what I am going to do is something I cannot even imagine.

Being alone just seems to come naturally to me, I couldn't honestly say that I like it, but it seems to be the state that I settle into most comfortably.

Hell no, You know sometimes I think its nice because I'm schedule is a little more free and I don't have to answer to anyone. But after 7 years of no companionship I really really could use a change of pace.

Very much so. Not that there's anything wrong with being in a relationship with the right person, but being single is far more peaceful and less hard work - I've noticed that relatively few people ever have arguments with people they aren't romantically or sexually involved with in someway. A friend of mine once said he thought that going out with someone was just a thinly veiled euphemism for "giving someone permission to talk to you like dirt and moan when you're five minutes late for dinner" which are things we virtually never do to someone we aren't having sex with. I guess relationships can be rewarding, but they're also a lot of bother.

I don't mind it...I keep myself busy and don't have to worry about, well, bothersome (or maybe not bothersome) things that a spouse would require.

I liked being single before meeting my ex. Now I feel quite lonely, but at 21 I've got a lot of life left I suppose.
