    Perhaps you are referring to Mary Kay Letourneau, who was convicted of statutory rape in 1997 for having a relationship with a 13 year-old male student of hers. She actually served several years in prison in the State of Washington, and upon getting out got married to the student (then an adult), and they now have children together.
