I'm going to an Islamic wedding in July. I've only ever been to western, secular weddings before. Is there anything I need to know?

Don't panic when the celebrants fire their rifles into the air. It's not any kind of aggressive act; just a ritual some Muslim sects perform. +5

Wear something green... its taken as a good sign. and if you can wear something on head, it would be admired as in muslims, the head should be covered at religious prayers ... that are being made at time of wedding.

Bring a flak vest. They LOVE to fire weaponry into the air, something to do with scaring evil spirits away. Which is strange, since they love gunfire so much, any evil spirit would've emigrated by now.

You might want to bring along a bomb squad.
