From time to time. The last one was a young woman on the Trans-Canada Highway in Quebec. She was French Canadian, played violin, spoke three languages, lived in Costa Rica for two years and had travelled to Europe, Africa and South and Central America. She was only 23. I was with my daughter at the time and she looked very interesting carrying her violin walking down the highway. She was like my daughter in many ways and I thought it would be great to get a french speaking person in the car so I could expose my daughter to the culture. As it turned out we ended up speaking in Spanish for more than an hour. It was perfect.

Yes at night in the rain I have stopped a couple times. I don't normally pick up Hitch Hikers Normally but I just cant seem to drive by in that situation.
