I cant imagine what church has to do with it. But look, in most places that is illegal or at least frowned upon. Why deal with that at all? And what kind of person claiming to believe in morals would seek a minor for a relationship?

NO You are asking to go to jail. Date some girls of legal age or don't date at all and concentrate on you and your studies for now. If the girl in question is still around in two years and you are still interested then for for it.

16 year olds are miles away from being as mature as 22 year olds, and 22 year olds party way to hard for a 16 year old to keep up with. There's really nothing they have in common. Different life stages, different priorities, different everything. Find someone you're own age, or at least 18.

I can't see what a 22 year old would want with a 16 year old. I don't think a mature 16 year old will amount to a mature 22 year old. I've known quite a few who did date that young, and they seemd to be a bit immature or couldn't get people around their age. Most adults, which is what he is, prefer to date adults. If he really likes a this girl he'll wait for her to mature and become and adult, or atleast by law.

No, I would stick to being just friends. Even if the legal age of consent is 16 you dont want to take chances. If you like and respect her than you can wait for another 2 years. And you never know in 2 weeks you may find that you only liked her because shes a flirt and you have no real interest in her besides the fact that she showed that she was interested in you.
