This is an issue that you'll need an attorney for. You may be able to get the records expunged or sealed, depends on the court. Definitely get an attorney, you can't do this on your own.

You're reading I was denied a carry permit in Cobb, county, GA, because in 2000 I was convicted(1st offender, 3yrs probabtion) for growing a pot plant. Is there any way, or any possibility, of one day obtaining a gun carry permit, or is this a lifetime penalty?
