I'm stuck with a pretty good memory. This very often comes in very useful, but other times, I remember something for weeks just because I read it once. The most useless example is information about celebrities which I happen to read or hear.

Car registration numbers/license plates People's telephone numbers - even when i haven't called them for years The exact wording on the back of the fizzy water label My uncle's wedding anniversary The names of the budgies we had in reception class If you remember random stuff who knows when you might need to use it??!!

I remember the phonetic alphabet. I'm not totally sure if its necessary that I know it, but I think its one of those things you learn and one day it just might come in handy. Say...a Phonetic Alphabet Remember-a-thon?

The definition for a dormous: An african squirrellike animal. When I was in middle school we used to call each other this (instead of dork, nerd, etc). What a useless bit of information to have remembered all of these years!
