    'Multiculturalism' as a government policy is basically 'Racism' as a government policy. In this case the "benefit" is all the unfair advantages given to the 'multicultural' individuals to achieve that end.

    its not racism to respond to malevolen's answer, its an anti discrimination policy, so that the government doesn't become what it once was (a group of only rich white men)
