I can understand that you may be concerned that this is dangerous. You may even be afraid that somebody you know may be using something that may be dangerous. I don't think you need to worry - have a look at this link:

    Welcome to answerbag.

First question in the bag, and it's a "What is this pill"?

    Remarkable.

The pill you describe is exactly like mine with a Capital L194. My pill is a PepcidAC pill.

It's PEPCID people....an antacid....harmless. Give the woman who asked a break, she has a reasonable concern. But hopefully this will help you realize that people can in fact change. :)

I just happened to find your question. I happened to be searching for the answer myself. I was able to find the information quite by accident. I have in my hand a small round, white pill, with L194 on one side and no marking at all on the other. It is in fact a generic Pepcid, manufactured by Perrigo for private label. (Pepcid is an acid reducer medication). Hope it helps.

I completely agree and understand why one would check into a pill that was found. but what I don't understand why one would bring someone into their home, and around small children, if that person has a history of drugs/OD'ing (at least such to the level that you are going behind him/her and privately checking their antacid medications)??

i have MS and find pills all the time spilled at 3am when i'm trying to find something. and many of these pills are unbelievably expensive, so if i find a pill i can't identify right away, i look it up. that one pill alone could cost me $8.

I also found two such pills and had the same question. Mine were found in a bottle of low dose 81 mg baby aspirin from members mark brand (Sams Club-Walmart) they stood out because all the aspirin were yellow and these two were white and larger.
I found the L194's to be Famotidine which is a generic brand of acid reducer coincidently also sold by members mark (Sams Club-Walmart)how they got in there in a good quality control question? The question regarding "others may have been crushed" in this room depends on where the room is and who had occupied the room. They could have been crushed to be used as a mixing agent with illegal drugs such as meth or they may have carried in such a way by a user of the acid reducer they partially broke down and left a powder residue... Anyway i thought you had a good question and would have wanted to know the answer too.
