What's the most McDonalds (or other fast food places) you have seen in the smallest radius? There are 3 fast food restaurants on this small 3 mile strip and they are putting a 3rd McDonalds in now. What the f*ck?

We have a two mile long commercial avenue, it holds grocers, Wal Mart Home Despot. At one end is a Mc donalds at the other end is Wal Mart with a Mc D's inside and on that very corner another Mc Ds. Going down the strip from the West end, we have Mc D's, Teriaki King, Long Johns, Wendies, Der Weinersh... Then a longish stretch of no fast food Ending with Walmart and its two Mc D's. Across the Street we have the Closing Star bucks, Taco Bell, Carl's Jr. Ihop a longish stretch of apartments, Jack in the Box and AW and KFC across the street from Walmart. In the shopping centers we have several pizza places, a couple of Oreintal food places and of course stores to meet your everyday needs.

I haven't seen it myself, but I heard there is a Churches, a popeyes, and a kfc on 3 corners of a 4 corner intersection in North Philly

When I was last in New York (city) I got the impression that there was at least one McD in each block in the centre at least.

I'm in a big city and there aren't very many fast food places nearby so I don't know what they are thinking or if they even know what they are doing. Maybe they just place a map on a dartboard.

One block in each direction of a major intersection in my town has and I kid you not 33, places to get food.

They are not so dumb. They know traffic flow and demand amoung other variables. They also may be sitting one up to be closed in the near future - I've seen it done. +5

Well we have west street. and its just fast food restraunt right after another...theres prolly 22 fast food places right by each other. Mcdonalds, there prolly about 16 in town.... I have one right across the street from my house...another one 2 miles behind me, and another 2 miles to the south...and nother 2 miles to the north. HOW CAN THERE BE THAT MUCH DEMAND FOR THAT STUFF?? Mickey D's itself isnt bad...its the people who eat it ALL THE FREAKIN TIME!!! CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
