I prefer calling. I almost never text message. If I'm going to type, I send an email. Text takes a lot longer for me than just typing emails or calling.

Since I have no idea what texting is and since the phone is made to talk on,I would say talking.I use a frying pan to fry,not to hit flies with,use the product properly is my take on it.

I despise texting. I will not even open a text (on the rare occasion that someone texts me) if I can avoid it.

Calling, always. As long as I can hear, I like to hear inflections in a voice. Words are just words and people can say anything. My Mom can tell me she is "fine" but if I hear her voice I will know if she is not doing well or in a lot of pain.
