I only drink shots when it comes to the alcohol other than beer....I like it 75% Tequila, and 25% hot dam schnapps.

I use ONE "Shot" of alcohol ... the rest is Mixer .. Unless I am making a drink requiring more than one type of alcohol; THEN I use 1 shot of each liquor ... the rest mix .... usually over ice ..

Depending what I'm drinking. Export vodka and malt whiskey - straight or over ice, Gin and dark rum - 25% gin/rum, 75% tonic, Everything else - 50% alcohol, 50% mixer.
