It's not so much the change but the actual layout itself. We've had layout changes before in my time here that in my opinion actually bettered the site but this one here is just off the wall.

Nah. If we were that bad, we'd just leave. I hate the ridiculous amount of scrolling I have to do just to see a question now. The home page also looks very "empty" until you scroll down.

Yes. Most people don't like change when they haven't been consulted about it. Some Beta testers first would have been a good idea. Give it time.

Not this guy. I'm all for change for the sake of improvement. Some of what they've done is fine, however, when my personal scoreboard now takes up the entire upper 2/3 of my monitor when I check my comments and such, and I can't even see the first question on the list for that page without scrolling down, THAT is NOT an improvement. My personal scoreboard doesn't need to be any bigger than it used to be to display the information that it does. And if they want to make it that big, they can put it at the BOTTOM of the page, after the list of questions. I don't care to have my scoreboard staring me in the face like that. That's not why I'm on AB.

Nope. It's definetely not that. It's about being simple-minded. Over the past 8 years, the government in conjunction with big corporations have perpetrated a silent coupe, they have robbed, raped and ridiculed us and stripped us of every right to the pursuit of peace, happiness and freedom, yet, here we are, bending over and saying "Thank you, Sir, may I have another?" So, I'd re-think the use of words & analogies used to describe the situtation if I were you...
