Real estate needs to be transferred by deed and in writing, it is not transferred with the bid on Ebay. Ask him if he thinks the transaction has fallen through and/or contact Ebay.

I think i might end up needing a lawyer

Contact Ebay asap and see what they say about it. You may need to go a step further with a lawyer, but hopefully not.

I would jump on the next jet to Little Falls and pay the man a little visit...maybe he would like to meet your friend, Johnny Law.

I just checked eBay, i don't see it or any other in completed listings.

I looked at both auctions, it is legally yours. I'd file a complaint with eBay and if you don't get satisfaction, get a lawyer. The school district in the Scranton area accidently listed a building for $10.00 and should have made it $10,000. They had to sell it for $10 because of the legality. Ebay knew that taxpayers were pissed at that, so eBay gave the school district $10,000 of their money. The building did go to the bidder for $10.

Ebay is not the place to do property purchases...the risks are too great...Its designed for small items and should be limited to them. I got burned by Ebay in respect to $40. I was in credit and asked for it to be refunded...they ignored my request. I finished up buying something for the same amount just to square the books...
