Help answer this question below.
you can buy some software, a friend has it, i believe it's called podmax
This website below offers allot of different software
that will allow you to burn DVD to ipod, iphone or other mobile device. They are not free, but most of them do a good job. The downside, watching movies on your mobile device eats the battery quickly...

There are many free dvd rippers and converters on line.
You should be able to do that with a dvd burner.
yes, google DVD to ipod ripper/converter and you should find some relevant information.
Hook up a digital audio recording device to the audio output source and just record it :-)
It would probably be easier to just search the Internet for the song.
You will need to use a third party software that will convert your DVD to MP4 format.
Xilisoft has one as do many others. You open the software, put in the DVD (on your computer) and then select the file that actually contains the movie and name it. It'll take a few hours to convert, but it works.
I don't own an iPod video, but plan on it and have already begun the conversion process for my library of DVD's. Each DVD takes up roughly 1/2 Gig.
They play on iTunes just fine, so I'm assuming they will play on the iPod video when I get it.
I could never justify buying the movie again on MP4 after I've already purchased it on DVD.
Yes. You can get a dvd ripper (AoA dvd ripper is a good one) An that like any other dvd ripper will rip the movie onto your hard drive. Then convert it with your video converter I know itunes does it. An that should do it.
You can use some software to change the movies format and then upload into your player.
yes. i had to purchase cucusoft converter suite. really easy. I have a 8gb nano and have had no trouble in converting movies
See my video at YouTube. You can do it free!

DVDfab has an option for ipods, straight from your dvd to ipod format, then drag and drop onto your ipod, i've even put whole movies on my mobile phone
I know that they make this thing that will burn them right on to the iPod but i heard a lot of bad reviews. Also try the free app called HANDBRAKE: you can only use this on a mac a believe.
I think you can just put the dvd in your computer
open up media player then sinc it to mp3 or ipod
My ipod touch only displays the album artwork on certain songs in the album.
