It is a good system, and should be there for genuine people. For the bums, it should be a compulsory work-for-the-dole and the jobs they work on should be next to high paid workers, and yet they aren't allowed to work there for the first fortnight, if the boss thinks they are good workers. This will show them the value of working for a quid, and stop being bums. Especially today, there are many genuine folks on the dole. On top of this, there is pensions, and these are vital. The folks worked their lives, and paid taxes, and now can't work. It is a human obligation to look after our older generation, like they did ours. I mean who wiped your bottom when you were a baby? Who fed you? It was one of the older ones. A generation rich in knowledge and experience.
