So they are making a lot of movies into 3-D and redoing some of the more popular ones like Lord of the Rings into 3-D...Would it not be cool if they had a 3-D channel for television?

• Ya, Peter Jackson is turning all of his movies into 3-D including the LOTR trilogy...Spielberg and him have fallen in love with the format because the technology has advanced to a point that it would be feasible to show their movies in 3-D and making the experience of watching them a much fuller one...As for the tv 3-D you would need the glasses which would not be so bad if you think about it, as long as it looked good, that's all that counts...

• They have new types of glasses now, much better than the old ones, the paper made ones that is not to mention who would want to go out and purchase a new tv in order to watch 3-D? Having the glasses would be a much cheaper way to go...Here is +4 just for showing up...

• Philips has developed the technology to watch 3-D without the glasses. Seems more comfortable to me. I normally already have glasses but I never wear them because I don't like the feeling. I don't want to watch tv with other glasses which feel just the same..
