Why wouldn't it? At least it's unquie, it seems every second house has a dog, or cat, or goldfish. A mantis is special.

Not if you expect it to perform tricks or go on walks. Besides, what would you feed it?

I believe they were once popular in China. They fit in cricket cages, but they'll eat the cricket.
