No, I never caught them but I know that they read my diary because I found it open instead of closed in between the mattresses.

yes my folks were always looking for my marijunana. All they seemed to uncover where my discarded condoms...poor suckers...hahahahaha

My parents didn't snoop. They were overt about it...like the police executing a search warrant.

nope, but when i moved out-they told me they had cleaned out my bedroom closet, and found a nickel bag, and were curious, and smoked it!!!!!please picture archie bunker and maude getting high!!!!i got scared i was in trouble-it was bizarre

I don't think my parents ever snooped on me. They trusted me and I guess I never did give them reason to suspect me of anything as I was a good kid, never any trouble, respectful, home on time. And my boyfriend (later to be husband) and I spent many hours at home doing things together so they knew what we were up to and could see our behavior with each other.

All the time. It took a lot to break the chain of being too nosy. I haven't snooped on anyone in decades.

Nope. I was a pretty good kid so my mother didn't worry about me to the degree that snooping would be something she'd do. That, or she was good enough to never get caught. :P

I didn't catch Mom in the act, but she implicated herself by knowing something she couldn't possibly have known any other way than picking through my trash.

All of the time! Nothing was private; letters, phone calls, everything was inspected and analyzed by my father. Due to that scrutiny early on, I do not ask too many questions, nor do I invade ANYONE'S privacy. +4

Never actually caught my step mom, but I know she did. Did she actually think that IF I DID have anything I wouldn't want her or my dad to know about, I'd keep it in my room????? NOT!! +5

"Snooping"? No. I knew from the git-go that my parents had every right to look through/inspect anything and everything I "owned". I knew whose home I lived in...and it wasn't mine! I had no problem with it. "Snoop" away...it made me smart enough to play by the rules [as far as they knew...anyway. :-)] and/or pay the piper when I didn't and got caught. :-) I ended up doing fairly well in my life...largely because of my folks +5, my Friend
