It's really cable vs. satellite and there's no difference (besides price) really until it comes to the extra stuff. Satellite TV doesn't have the technology for the ON DEMAND stuff. Play pay-per-view and subscription ON DEMAND programs and movies whenever you want, pause it, play it, start it, whatever. So I give it to cable.

I prefer cable. Satellite is frustrating when it starts raining and you go to check the weather channel and lose the signal because of the rain. GRRRRR...

Cable. My friend has satellite and it is a pain in the ass in the smallest of rain storms he is dead ijn the water. It's out more than it's on.
