Start by telling him what feels good, not what he's doing wrong. You can say one word directions to him like "left" "yes" "right there" "up" etc. Alternatively, you could also "guide" his head up while he is eating you to "direct" him toward your clit instead of telling him where to go.

Get a medical book that includes human sexuality and give him a look at the basic anatomy of the female.
