  • Saddest music clip I've ever seen is Concrete Angel by Martina McBride. This isn't the real clip because I couldn't find it.
  • Saddest film clip is Sinead O'Connor singing "Nothing Compares to YOu". Saddest songs "In the Winter: Janis Ian The days are okay I watch the TV in the afternoon If I get lonely The sound of other voices Other rooms are near to me I’m not afraid The operator She tells the time It’s good for a laugh There’s always radio And for a dime I can Talk to God, dial a prayer Are you there? Do you care? Are you there? And in the winter Extra blankets for the cold Fix the heater, getting old I am wiser now, you know And still as big as a fool Concerning you. I met your friend She’s very nice, what can I say? It was an accident I never dreamed we’d meet again This way - - you’re looking well I’m not afraid. You have a lovely home Just like a picture No, I live alone I found it easier You must remember how I never liked the party life Up all night, lovely wife You have a lovely wife. And in the winter Extra blankets for the cold Fix the heater, getting old You are with her now, I know I’ll live alone forever Not together now. ============= and Tonight by Elton John Tonight Do we have to fight again Tonight I just want to go to sleep Turn out the light But you want to carry grudges Nine times out of ten I see the storm approaching Long before the rain starts falling Tonight Does it have to be the old thing Tonight It's late, too late To chase the rainbow that you're after I'd like to find a compromise And place it in your hands My eyes are blind, my ears can't hear And I cannot find the time Tonight Just let the curtains close in silence Tonight Why not approach with less defiance The man who'd love to see you smile Who'd love to see you smile Tonight (although the version by George Michael on Two Rooms is a tearjerker) I'm a sucker for sad songs...I am a depressive after all :-)
  • Saddest movie would be the one with Robin Williams searching for his wife in hell because she killed herself...waaaaaa!
  • My sisters keeper was such a sad book, im afraid to see the movie in case it ruins the book. I cried so hard at the end of the book!
  • "The elephant man" was the saddest movie i have ever seen, no other film has touched or moved me so much. Also, "Jacobs ladder" affected me in that way. As for books, there are many. I would have to say "A child called it" and "The stranger beside me".
