A GPS all the way!! I would rather have someone tell me where to go so I can enjoy the scenery instead of looking for stupid signs
A map! I know how to work that!
A GPS, but if I wanted to feel like a hardass, I'd use a map, a compass, and a sextant. Kickin' it old school!
GPS system with a map in case I need to see something that the GPS doesn't get, but GPS is great in general!
My husband bought me a Garmin GPS because I'm not good with directions; I love it.
Map please xD
I've got two GPS systems on the dash of my truck, one in case the other goes out. If they both fail, I guess I can eat the map and hope help eventually comes. I'm the guy in the commercial using his GPS to find his car in the parking lot... lol
I like the google.maps or mapquest printouts. I have a GPS but haven't gotten used to using it yet. I intend to take it on my next longish auto trip, and I expect to start liking it.
Given that I've never used a GPS unit, I'd have to go with a map.. I can usually commit the direstions to memory. I'm also afraid of technology failing me. One time I was given a RIGHT instead of a LEFT... that threw me off almost an hour.
GPS all the way! I have a Garmin and had to turn the voice off. The voice would say "recalculating" in a snooty voice if you didn't go the suggested way.
id love a gps system,
just imagine that voice
" please take the next left exit, no, you have gone past it now, please take the next available exit to get back to where you were going..............
I have to read maps upside down, a pain.
Map.
GPS, hands down.
No one is more anal during over-the-road trips than I.
I'm constantly checking how much further I have to drive, if I'm going the right direction, where the next exit is. I drive myself and everyone with me crazy from constantly checking directions.
Once I began using GPS, I became able to do something I've never down before when driving great distances.
Relax.
i'm old school...give me a map and i can get anywhere i need! i actually prefer the "i know i need to go northwest of here, so i'll take roads that run north and west and use a map if i get lost" driving style...only when i dont have a set time to get anywhere though...lol
GPS all the way.
