Hypocrisy is the first. The second is "creating a distraction or strawman", I'm not aware of any single word which captures it.

I'd go with projection, for the first one. For the second, some people use equivocation - they shift the meaning of a word and pretend that what they want to talk about is what you said, only they define it differently so that things work in their favor.

the psychological term for the first is "projecting" in rhetoric (the art of building an argument) the second could be called a red herring, or a strawman, depending on how it's used (a red herring is a fact that isn't actually pertinent to the argument; a strawman is setting up a target in order to use one's response to that problem as avoidance of the real problem; similar)
