I too would like to know...whether the God of Islam has a NAME. "God" is a title, like "sir" or even "mister" The Christian God does have a personal name... (Exodus 6:3) And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but as respects my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them. Is there a similar text in the Quran?

Typically, if there is no proof that God/Allah has a name, it just means the whole thing is fiction and a made up story.

The very same could be asked of all mans many faiths to have so many different Gods ... who is their God? ... >why single Islam out?< ... Its singularity of one man's faith to question its strength or existance which causes the unrest that exists in todays choice free world ... Who is your God really? is he the same God? or is there a council of Gods? ... Who is anyone's God????? The point being is >>> we are free to choose whoever or whatever we wish to thank or believe is responsible for our existance ... divisions are not caused by different faiths so much, divisions are mainly caused by another man's doubt toward another man's free choice.
