Sometimes. I usually don't like them all that much. They always choose some girl in a thong or something. That always gives me a bad impression of them.
-
No I usually go to their pages and check out their Q & As if I have any doubts.
-
Not if the womens half naked!
-
I just get confused if the avatar is an animal. Gee, someone taught a kitty-cat to use the internet! And the kitty-cat has an unusual fixation on Battlestar Galactica and hates Mormons. Hmm... how would a cat develop opinions on these things? OH, it's really a human, with a picture of a kitty-cat, of course! :) Now, that duck who likes to fix cars is fascinating though ...
-
One avatar that really confused me was when someone had a picture of a little girl up. I thought for quite a while it was the girl's mother. I was totally caught off guard when I found out it was the girl's father. (!)
-
Not really. However, I wonder if they are confused. But, to each his own.
-
I don't really pay attention to the Avatar except a glance. Sometimes I notice in responses and it gets me for a second. I like to play the free poker at BW's and a few people I know use a woman's name even though they are men.
-
Nope. Maybe they like looking at her whenever they login to AB. Or, maybe it is their s/o? Or, maybe, I don't know lol, but, It doesn't confuse me, I don't think much of it really until I answered this lol.
-
Sometimes I do, but it doesn't last for long. Lot's of people get confused by the avatars I upload.
-
I don't.
-
No, Zack is one of my friends so I'm kinda used to it :P
-
Only if they have a man's name. Then I figure it's probably a wife, a photo they liked and picked up from the internet, or they're extremely feminine looking (JK); LOL!
-
No. I think I'd get confused if *I* put up a female avatar, considering I have a strict "only use pictures of myself for avatars" policy.
-
I used to but not anymore.
-
Yes. No. I'm sorry, what was the question?
-
Yea it really confusing but usually there is some explanation for it
-
I don't get confused but I dont really pay attention to it. What I DID get confused about in the beginning was the pictures next to the questions, for a very long time I thought it was the picture of who asked the question, not the last person to comment on it. :-x
-
I do not discriminate between anyone. For me the questions have more meaning than the persona behind it.Those who try to delude are afraid of something.
-
Not anymore. I learned a while ago than men are far more likely to pretend they are women. What a riot!...
-
I get more confused when someone puts up a picture of an inanimate object. "This guy's got a picture of a rock as an avatar. Could he really be a rock? I wasn't aware rocks could type." I mean, I want to be open minded, but some things stretch the imagination too far.
-
Zack is the only one I know who does that. I think it's a little confusing at first but you just have to look at his screen name and it's very clear.
-
Yes, I say that is not fair. A good example, tellitome was asking good questions, I was answering to a female until he told me in no uncertain manner, he was a bloke. Sometimes it is funny when we get mixed up but, if these people want a true answer to their questions, they should be honest about which side they are on.
-
Temporarily. It soon shines through.
-
Yeah! And vice versa!
-
Do you confuse me with a dog? LOL I can count on one hand the people who use their actual picture. I just use the picture to identify the person, drives me nuts when they change it everyday.
-
bepends how in tune with their feminine side they are!
-
Not as confused as they are, apparently.
-
No it more confuses me when a female has a "sexy" avatar as if trying to be something theyre not
-
I have been wrong about gender quite often. So early on I developed the use of "m'dear" and that covers everyone. Happy Thursday! :) ((hugs))
-
Sometimes but then again I do it but because I like some pictures of females
-
Yes. Why do they do this? Maybe they like to think they are girls. Anyhow, it makes it hard (pun) for others to give a good answer.
-
Better still, I get confused when I think I am talking to a guy and it is a lady. People have confused me with a man, because I'm terrible outspoken at times. I just try to answer the questions the best I can without thinking about gender.
-
Hi honey ... unless he is transgendered yes it IS confusing to me. :))
-
Yes no maybe. I do not worry a whole lot about gender here.. How do I know the "male" profile is right?
-
I pretty much stay confused, so I can't blame it on an avatar.
-
Not really. Maybe he's transgendered, or maybe he has a crush on the woman in his avatar.
-
Sometimes, but then I'm easily confused.
-
I do unless I know who it is. Such as Zack....he MOST times has female pics up as Avatars. But I see his name there too by the Avatar, & then know who it is. +5
-
Not really. I go check their AB profile if I am unsure what gender they are. Sometimes I get annoyed if they don't list their gender. There are certain questions where I like to know if it is a man or a woman talking.
-
It takes a lot less than that to confuse me :)
-
No i don't wait yes i do i'm confused now.
