i love to read books that i am interested in
-
Of course! Books are wonderful sources of knowledge and power, and the more we can learn about our world and how it works, the more we can understand the cause and effects of our society. As they always say: You learn something new every day!
-
My wife and I read about 30 books a month between us.
-
i'd rather read a book than see a movie. i have a good imagination.
-
Yep, I'm afraid so. I usually have 3 or 4 going at once. Currently: American Gods (GREAT novel) Krakatoa - the day the earth exploded (fascinating history) The Dead Sea Scrolls Deception (interesting)
-
Yes I am an avid reader and usually read 2 or 3 books at a time. Now I'm reading A Patriot's Guide to American History (very good), House (not that good but I want to know how it ends), and Lizzie (about Lizzie Borden), and The Daily Walk Bible (I am enjoying it).
-
Yes. From Shadowlands, 'We read to know we're not alone.'
-
Yes I love to read books I also like to listen to audio books.
-
Yes. Most of the books that I love to read deal with the subject of psychology. The next book I want to get is "The Kelee" by Ron Rathbun.
-
Yes, although I do spend a lot of time on the computer, and that is my excuse for only getting through about 2 or 3 a month - that and the rather heavy content of what I read.
-
Yes, all sorts from Fantasy to Mystery to Quantum mechanics.
-
Yes..I have a very extensive personal library with books of every interest that I have

I am an avid reader who reads an average of 50 books a year (not including the ones I read to my kids). Unlike some of the other answerers, I only read one at a time. I think this is because of my upbringing. My parents decided before they had children that they would not have a television in their house until their children could read. Since my youngest sister is seven years younger than me, my primary source of entertainment for the first 13 years of my life was reading books. I believe as a result of that, when I read a book, I totally immerse myself in it until I am done. No room for other books at the same time. I also am a bit quirky about books in series. I bought the Lemony Snicket books last summer, but didn't start reading them until the last book in the series was released. I hated the thought of being twelve books into a thirteen book series and having to wait for the last one!

I love to read. I enjoy learning and reading is a must if you want to learn, without having formal education.
-
kinda i just got into it!
-
Sort of. I love reading the Harry Potter books, I've read all of them(except HBP and my Ronmione shippers know why!!) at least 3 times each. It depends what kind of book it is. If its something like "Cather in the Rye", or "Romeo and Juliet", those types of books, then I love to read, because those are the types of books I love. Per year, I read about maybe 10 books.

I visit Borders Books and Music -or- Barnes & Noble everyday - and sometimes multiple times during the day. I have these bookstores within walking distance of work -- actually I can walk to 2 Borders and 2 B&N within 20 minutes of work --- wow -- that's 4 great bookstores + a host of independent ones. And then I live near a Borders and B&N too. I practically live there & LOVE browsing & reading & buying books (& getting soy lattes). I can basically read for free at Borders and B&N. As incredible as it sounds, they're cool with that. And yes -- I do actually buy books too.

I secretly love books! I wouldnt say that at my school because it would be social suicide, but they are a great way to entertain the brain! Ok, so instead of watching TV you get to read the words && IMAGINE the images. So much I could say... but I must get back to my book. Happy reading!
-
Yes. When you read, you can get so invovled in the book and enjoy it thoroughly. Sometimes things sound really wonderful or you can read something that goes so well with your own opinions. Reading can pass the time well and make you enjoy more things.

Yes, i definitely wouldn't live a happy life without books, i feel uneasy if i dont have a book i am reading at the moment! Besides my husband and family, i would rather spend time reading than with people, i know it's bad but reading is such a great source of knowledge and it's like a mini vacation!
