What do you think about Obama's "PAYGO" proposal?

I don't know much about it. But in general, I agree that for regular spending the government should pay up front rather than foist the debt on our kids. Special things like the bailout and wars can be debt funded with the aim of repayment ASAP - like WWII. But of course, the devil is in the details. +5

As I understand "paygo" I agree and disagree! I agree that they should have to cut 1 dollar for every new dollar spent. I disagree with adding a tax to bypass having to cut that one dollar, and just add on more taxes. . They have had a type of "paygo"! They have not really paid to much attention to it though huh.

I think that in order to add more funding for welfare recipients, they will cut our military. I think that in order to expand 'green' programs they will cut infrastructure funding. Etc., etc....

I have a proposal.Pay as you afford.Is what I do now...lol.If I can afford it.Pay for it.Is My opinion.Doesnt make it right or wrong.Just Mine.
