  • No a doctor would not think you were being silly - emotional illness is just a serious as physical symptoms. The doctor may refer you to a counsellor to try to get to the bottom of why you feel the way you do, or may prescribe a short course of anti-depressants to help you shake it off. But I promise they won't think you are silly - good luck.
