Is sexual orientation based on one's gender or sex? (For example, if someone was biologically male, but felt as if they were female, and were attracted to girls, would they be straight or gay?)

On gender. A woman who is still male-bodied is still a woman. Therefore if she is attracted to women, she is gay.

Me personally, I think it's wrong to go by how someone's physicality is, rather than how they present themselves. If someone presents to me as a woman, frankly I don't care if she has a penis. She is a woman. Same thing if it's a man who still has a vagina. He is a man.

Mind you, there's a difference between someone in drag and someone whose internal gender really *does* differ from their physical sex. I'm talking about the latter.
